TWO YEAR LIMITED WARRANTYSealion Metal Fabricators, LLC warrants each Sea Lion and Tidewater Trailer to be free from defects in materials or
workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Sealion will repair or replace at
Sealion Metal Fabricators’ sole option, without charge any parts found to be defective within a reasonable period of time
after the trailer is returned at the owner’s expense to an authorized Sealion dealer. This warranty is extended to the original
purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty is void if the trailer has been modified in any way or if the
malfunction is due to damage, unreasonable use or lack of reasonable maintenance.
Pre-authorization is required for any warranty work. Trailers used for a rental fleet or for any commercial purpose are not
covered under this warranty. This warranty is not transferable. This warranty does not cover winches, couplers, lights,
brakes, tongue jacks, springs, tires and wheels since these items are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties.
This warranty does not extend to damage caused by overloading the trailer beyond its stated capacity, or power loading our
bunk / FLOAT-ON trailers. Due to the harsh corrosive operating conditions to which a boat trailer is exposed, rust
formation, galvanizing and/or finish, and alignment are not covered by this warranty. Certain items such as but not limited
to: tires, bearings, seals and races, brake friction surfaces, and bunk carpet are considered wear items. These items must be
inspected, maintained and replaced by the owner as needed. Sealion will cover bearings and seals for a period of 90 days
from date of purchase. No transportation charges or other related expense, such as loss of time, inconvenience, travel
expenses, lodging, telephone, gas, towing charges, loss or damages to personal property or loss of wages, are covered by
this warranty.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
AND IMPLIED, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE , SHALL BE LIMITED
TO THE TERM OF THE WRITTEN WARRANTY. SEALION METAL FABRICATORS SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREADTH OF THIS OR ANY
OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
This warranty is intended to comply with the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act, as
amended, and any provisions of this warranty or actions taken by Sea Lion Metal Fabricators pursuant to this warranty shall
be construed accordingly. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary
from state to state, Sea Lion Metal Fabricators reserves the right to change models or specifications withour prior notice.
This warranty is validated by the submission of the Warranty Registration card below OR by the completion of the
Warranty Registration through other electronic means as provided by Sea Lion Metal Fabricators. It is the responsibility of
the original purchaser to submit this warranty within 90 days from the date of purchase. Failure to submit this notification
within the time frame will relieve Sea Lion Metal Fabricators from any responsibility under this warranty.
